This Policy explains what personal data Clarity collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to the Clarity platform.
1. Data we collect
Account details (name, email), consultant profile information and photo, your bookings and the messages exchanged in sessions, reviews you write, and technical data such as device, IP address, and log/usage information.
2. Payments
Payments are processed by our provider, Polar, acting as merchant of record. We receive limited transaction data (such as status and references) to confirm and manage bookings; we do not collect or store your full card details.
3. How we use your data
To provide and improve the service — creating accounts, discovery, bookings, running sessions, sending notifications, processing payments and refunds, providing support, and keeping the Platform safe and lawful.
4. Sharing
We share data with the consultant or client you transact with (as needed to deliver the session), with our service providers (payment, hosting, and email/SMS/push delivery), and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies, such as those needed to keep you signed in. If we add analytics, we will update this Policy accordingly.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Session messages are retained as part of your session history.
7. Your rights
You can access and update your information in your account, and delete your account (Account → Delete account). Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. International processing
Your data may be processed on servers and by service providers located outside your country.
10. Children
The Platform is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
